Omara + Umair {married!}: Scotch Plains Wedding Photographer

A few months ago, Omara reached out to me asking if I was available for her December 3rd wedding. A year ago, I had the pleasure of documenting her sister's mehndi before her wedding, but was sadly unavailable to photograph the wedding day. So, finding out I was available for Omara and Umair was wonderful! Being apart of such a beautiful event with so much culture is incredibly humbling. Being around this family is being around a tremendous amount of stunning beauty. Truly. I actually became distracted editing this wedding because I was just staring at the beauty of every single woman at this event. The make up, the clothing. Their beauty is so modest and mystical.

This wedding was full of a lot of love of pride. I found it so fascinating to watch the differences in a Pakistani wedding from a traditional American wedding. There's no bridal party, no separate location for the ceremony, no alcohol, and no dance party with a DJ. The wedding day is souly focused on the commitment of the couple. The rest of the evening is spent greeting the couple and mingling. How beautiful??

Omara and Umair, separately it's easy to see within minutes of meeting you that you're both people of character, strength and dignity. Together, you'll be a force to be reckoned with. Thank you so much for allowing me to be there to capture this special day for you!
