Sitting Still: 15/365
Our little guy has a new habit that he asks us to "Please hold me," and he simply wants to sit in your lap as he watches Paw Patrol. This is so unusual for our kids. They're usually on the go, never sitting still. So, although he asks several times a day, we stop what we're doing and sit down and hold him. Every time he does this, it's an instant reminder to stay mindful and present. To stop and breath. To savor the moment and know that "the chores/work will be there tomorrow."
