Doylestown Family Session: Burpee Park & Nonno's

This photo shoot was a long time coming!! Michael contacted me at the end of 2013 to buy a gift certificate for his wife for family pictures. We started with a scheduled session in January that was rescheduled so many times I lost count (for very good reasons!). Michael chose Burpee Park and Nonno's for their session location because they spend so much time there as a family... this made me giddy! I love shooting in locations that have meanings to the clients.

Of course, on the day of our session, the weather was calling for rain. Of course! Fortunately, it seemed like we had time to shoot before the rain would arrived, so we kept our date. I met Michael, his wife, daughter and their nanny at  Burpee Park in Doylestown.

Gorgeous family!!!

This little girl... oh.my.gosh!! She's this super spunky three year old. She knows what she wants, is assertive, polite, well mannered, and has a killer smile to boot!! Michael and Argenta are hitting a home run with the parenting thing. This is one awesome kiddo!

In true three year old fashion, Tori wasn't super interested in sitting still for a family shot. We tried to bribe her to hang out by some flowers which immediately turned into picking the flowers. Come on, what three year old wouldn't take that opportunity?! But what she did with that flower melted my heart. She gave it to the Blessed Mother (Burpee Park backs up to Our Lady of Mount Carmel).

Can you tell they're mom and daughter from behind?? Love it!

This next group of pictures are my favorite. I feel like they truly capture the special connection between all four of these people. How awesome for Tori to have such amazing parents and a nanny, Danielle, who clearly cares for her so much. Tori is so rightfully the center of their smiles!

Oh, daddy-daughter moments really tug at my heart strings!

After the park, I joined Michael, Argenta and Tori for a walk to Nonno's, a gelato shop that they frequent. These types of photo ops make my heart dance! I'll let the images tell the story.

To wrap up our session, I nabbed a few shots of the gorgeous couple!

This session was so worth waiting for!!! Thank you so much for having me capture your family <3

PS Would you believe that the skies opened up the second I closed my car door?! Ha!
