Shannon & Matt: Peace Valley Park, New Britain, PA

Shannon and Matt. Where do I start? Shannon and I have been best buds since the 7th grade. Certainly, we've gone through our tween growing pains and more, but we've stuck together through it all. At this point in life, she's more my sister than a friend and I love her unconditionally.

Three years ago, Shannon and I got ourselves dolled up and went out on the town for my 27th birthday. I remember that night very well. It was the hottest, muggiest night I remember.... ever. Disgusting. I was so disappointed the weather was so crummy for our girls' night out. Regardless, we had a great time. Near the end of the night, we ran into this guy Matt and his friends at the Freighthouse (in fact, he's still in my phone as "Freighthouse Matt"). I could tell there was the potential of something special between Matt and Shannon, but the timing wasn't right and the stars weren't yet aligned. Sometimes you have to take things into your own hands, so I grabbed Matt's number to give Shannon on a rainy day. Nearly three years later, they're stronger than ever.

No, this isn't an engagement shoot, though I hope there's one soon *wink, wink*! I simply wanted to take pictures of this beautiful couple. Okay... here come the tears. Matt, you make Shannon the happiest and brightest I've ever seen her in the 18 years I've known her. I love you for loving her the way you do. You both compliment each other the way a couple should. I'm so thankful you have each other and hope that so many other people can experience the love you two share.

Photography is magic. You can't fake chemistry or the tender moments that a shutter button can catch in a single frame. These pictures speak for themselves.

Matt, you're much more photogenic than you think! I hope you like at least 90% of them. Shannon... love you.
