Lehigh Valley Engagement Session: Lock Ridge Park

think I might need to start paying someone for all the sessions I've done at Lock Ridge lately. BUT, it's so beautiful, I still can't get enough! My latest session was with my best friend, Shannon, and her other half Matt. They were engaged in September and they're planning a New Year's Eve wedding at Pine Crest Country Club. How fun?! And what's even more fun is that I get to stand right next to her as she says her vows. Wahoo!!

We were hoping to get to Lock Ridge for a snowy engagement shoot. Despite ALL of the snow this winter, we just couldn't coordinate schedules. Besides, most of the winter we had feet of snow in addition to below zero temps... certainly not conducive to an engagement session. Blagh!

When I had a blue bell session scheduled (for my family... yup! I was in FRONT of the camera. Lindsay of Pics and Giggles Photography rocks!), I invited Matt and Shannon up on a whim. Turns out they were free! Yay!

It was a bit chilly during our shoot, but I just adore how their images turned out. They're both so photogenic (despite the grumbles during our photo shoot) and the location, as I mentioned, is just stunning. The pictures speak for themselves.

I can't get too mushy in this blog post; I have to save something  for my maid of honor speech, but the love these two have for each other radiates through the pictures. They're so clearly best friends which is such an important root to any relationship. You little love birds!

I can't wait for another mini session at the place where you two met!! And THEN the wedding... oh boy it'll be here before we know it!
