Pen Argyl Baby Photographer: Max is 3 Months!

If I said it before, I'll say it again... any photo shoots with new clients is like a blind date for both parties. They don't know who they're meeting and I have no idea who I'm meeting. I don't know what kind of work space I'll have or personalities I'll be dealing with (let's be serious, you can only tell so much through e-mail. Sometimes personalities are spot on, sometimes not so much. Though, I have yet to have a bad "blind date" with new clients!). All my interactions with Stacey were lovely. She contacted me when Max was 2 weeks old to set up his 3 month pictures... I liked her already! Immediately upon meeting her, she was phenomenal. She introduced me to her husband Mike and her parents (which is common to have the grandparents there by the way!) and showed me around her newly renovated home with new furniture. All was great!!

On top of it, Max is super adorable and was such a good baby during his entire shoot!

When we were just getting started, Stacey was helping me out and her husband and parents were hanging in the background watching. I believe Mike even said "I'm fine not being involved at all." WELL, within seconds he was up, helping to move furniture, coming up with prop ideas, blocking certain light, holding the reflector. I DO believe there was one point where I may have heard something along the lines of, "I didn't think this would be this much fun." Yup, don't deny it, Mike!

Meanwhile, I'm in my zone photographing adorable little Max and then, all of a sudden, some music comes roaring out of the speakers. Don't you know Stacey's dad starts playing, "I'm too sexy" by Right Said Fred. Yup. That happened and I loved it.

This group was such a blast. It makes my "job" so much fun. I never consider it work... how could I?!

Stacey and Mike, thank you so much for inviting me into your beautiful home to have me capture Max's 3 months. I had such a great time! I can't wait to see how much he has grown in a few months!!
